Hellfire is the heaviest, angriest lava: blood-red magma that boils hard, with a smoldering crimson glow around the edge. It is the variant to use when the object should feel dangerous.

How it looks

The ramp starts almost black-red, moves through deep crimson and bright red, and only reaches orange and pale yellow at the hottest points, so the overall impression is red rather than orange. Boil Amplitude is the highest in the family, so the surface visibly heaves and the silhouette wobbles as the lava churns. Warp Strength is raised too, which makes the flow curl and fold more. The rim is strong and red, so a Hellfire sphere glows with a thick crimson edge against a dark scene.

Settings

  • Boil Amplitude sets how far the surface bulges in and out. Hellfire uses the most; lower it if the shape must keep a clean outline.
  • Rim Intensity is high; reduce it for a flatter look.
  • Warp Strength controls how much the magma curls.
  • Crack Intensity adds bright filaments between the cells.
  • Color 1 to Color 5 set the ramp from crust to hottest.

Use it for

Fantasy and game scenes, a demonic orb or portal core, horror and Halloween visuals, or dramatic red typography. It pairs well with the Hellfire Halo corona and a fire effect nearby.
