Titanium is a polished, mid-grey metal, the look of premium watches, high-end phones and aerospace parts. It is darker than Aluminum yet smoother and more reflective, so it reads as dense and technical rather than light.
Settings
- Color mid grey: a muted, almost neutral grey with a faint warm cast, darker than aluminum and close to steel.
- Roughness 0.25: well polished. Reflections are recognisable but slightly soft, between Chrome and Steel.
- Env Map Intensity 1.3: stronger than normal reflections, which make the dark grey shine.
- Metalness 1: fully metallic.
Raise Roughness to about 0.45 for bead-blasted titanium, the matte finish common on watch cases. Shifting the Color toward blue or bronze imitates anodised titanium.
Use it for
Watches, phones and wearables, sports and aerospace products, premium tech hero shots, sci-fi hardware, and dark, refined metal logos and 3D text. Titanium pairs well with dark backgrounds and controlled studio light, where its polish picks out edges without the glare of chrome. Give it an environment with some contrast so the darker tone still has reflections to show.

MetalWorks well with
Holographic Crosshair
A holographic crosshair cursor: a spinning targeting ring with four ticks that follows the mouse. For games, HUD interfaces and sci-fi product pages.
CursorLED Array
A real light drawn as its LED chips: a single die, strip, panel or ring, with instant switching, diffuser, dimming strobe and RGB chase.
LightLiquid Metal Blob
A liquid metal cursor: a glossy chrome blob that ripples as it follows the mouse and swells when you move fast. For luxury, fashion and tech.
CursorPinscreen
Pictures as beds of fine pins lit by the scene: inactive ones are a flat grey bed, the active one is pushed out by a soft wave into a relief in full colour; the cursor presses the pins in. Use for product, tech and tactile showcases.
Gallery layoutPinscreen
The picture as a pinscreen of fine metal pins, each standing out by the brightness under it with a domed head in the picture's colour; a change is a pressure wave that sinks the pins and raises the new relief. Use for tech, product and sculptural heroes.
Image3D print
Print a 3D object layer by layer like an FDM printer, with a hot nozzle and glowing layers, or show its slicer preview.
