Shape
Cylinder
Cylinder (pipe / tube / column). Use for poles, columns, cans, pipes.

The Cylinder is a round column with a flat top and bottom: a pipe, a pole, a can, a barrel, a coin or a pillar. Because the top and bottom radius are separate settings, it also makes tapered cups, lamp shades and truncated cones.
Shape settings
- Top radius and Bottom radius set each end on its own. Equal values give a straight column; different values taper it; a top radius of 0 closes it into a cone.
- Height sets how tall it is. A small height with a large radius gives a disc, a coin or a podium.
- Radial segments (3 to 64) sets the number of sides. 32 is round; 6 gives a hexagonal prism, 3 a triangular one.
Display modes and materials
Solid shows the surface. Edges and Wireframe draw it as lines, Contours slices it into stacked rings, and Plexus scatters points over it and links neighbours into a network. Any material goes on it: brushed metal for a product can, polished wood for a plinth, clear glass for a drinking glass.
Use it for
- Podiums and round display stands for products
- Cans, bottles and packaging stand-ins
- Columns, pipes and poles in architecture
Code and API
Ready-to-paste React Three Fiber code and the 3DRise API are included in paid plans, inside the studio.

Sweep
A circle or any profile swept along a 3D path of [x, y, z] points, rounded, scaled along the way, capped or closed. Use for pipes, railings, cables, rails, hoses, rings.
Lathe
A [radius, y] profile revolved around the vertical axis, full or a slice, with caps. Use for vases, bowls, columns, lamps, bottles, domes.
Box
Rectangular box / cube. Use for crates, walls, blocks, cubes.
Capsule
Cylinder with hemispherical caps. Use for pills, character bodies, rounded poles.
Club
Club mesh
Cone
Pointed cone. Use for traffic cones, spires, ice-cream cones, witch hats.

The six standard 3D surface materials, from unlit flat color to physically based paint, clearcoat and cel shading. How each one takes light.
MaterialAluminum
Bright, lightweight aluminum with high reflectivity and slight surface roughness
MetalBirch
Very pale, almost white birch with a matte finish. For Scandinavian interiors, plywood furniture and bright minimal scenes.
WoodBrushed Metal
A satin, matte grey metal with soft, wide highlights, for appliances, panels and modern architectural details.
