The Cone is a round base that narrows to a sharp point. It is the shape of a traffic cone, a spire, a horn, an ice-cream cone or a witch hat, and with few sides it becomes a pyramid.
Shape settings
- Radius sets the width of the base.
- Height sets how tall it is from base to tip.
- Radial segments (3 to 64) sets how many sides it has around. 32 is a smooth cone; 4 gives a square pyramid, 3 a triangular one, and 6 to 8 a faceted, crystal-like spike.
Display modes and materials
Solid shows the surface. The line modes draw it as edges, a full wireframe, or Contours: horizontal slices that become a stack of shrinking rings toward the tip, a clean technical look. The point modes fill it with particles or scatter them over the skin. Any material in the library goes on it, from gold for a trophy spire to ice for an icicle or clear glass for a lamp shade.
Use it for
- Spires, towers and roofs in simple architecture
- Pyramids and spikes in abstract compositions
- Traffic cones, horns and hats in playful scenes
Code and API
Ready-to-paste React Three Fiber code and the 3DRise API are included in paid plans, inside the studio.

Works well with
Basic
The six standard 3D surface materials, from unlit flat color to physically based paint, clearcoat and cel shading. How each one takes light.
MaterialBasic Material
An unlit 3D material: flat color or image that ignores every light in the scene. For UI panels, flat graphics and exact brand colors.
Basic3d Rise Mesh Shader Material
An unlit surface that shows a color or an image exactly as given, unaffected by scene lights. For screens, posters, panels and flat graphics.
Custom ShaderAdvanced
Five advanced 3D materials: a mirror floor, refraction, see-through transmission glass, and two surfaces that distort or wobble the shape in motion.
MaterialAluminum
Bright, lightweight aluminum with high reflectivity and slight surface roughness
MetalBirch
Very pale, almost white birch with a matte finish. For Scandinavian interiors, plywood furniture and bright minimal scenes.
