Chalkboard
Single-stroke chalk on slate: pressure-dependent deposit on a fixed grainy board with powdery halo, falling dust at the pen and a felt-smudge erase leaving ghosts. Use for classrooms, menus and hand-made titles.

Chalkboard writes your text in chalk on a slate board. The line is grainy and broken where the chalk was pressed lightly and nearly solid where it was pressed hard, a little dust falls from the tip as it writes, and the erase is a felt swipe that leaves faint ghosts behind.
How it works
The board has a fixed, bumpy surface with fine scratches. Chalk catches on the highest bumps first and only fills the hollows as more is laid down, which is exactly why real chalk lines look grainy. Fast, light strokes skip into dashes. Tiny mineral crystals in the chalk flash as a slow light sweeps across. The default Smudge erase drags the chalk along an arc, like a felt held at the elbow, and leaves a grainy haze that then fades out.
Settings
- Pressure sets how hard the chalk is pressed, from broken and grainy to nearly solid.
- Chatter sets the skipping on fast strokes; Grain how strongly the board texture shows.
- Weight sets the thickness of the chalk stick; Dust the falling powder.
- Chalk and Highlight set the chalk colour and the tint of dense marks.
- Board adds a slate behind the text with faint old writing.
- Swing and Ghost shape the smudge erase.
Use it for
- Classroom, school and education scenes
- Café and restaurant menus
- Hand-made, back-to-school titles

Handwriting
A pen writes the text in single strokes, slowing in tight curves where the ink pools and drying from wet sheen to rest colour; a faint sheen drifts over the dry ink. Use for signatures, titles and invitations.
Ink Bleed
Fountain-pen ink soaking into fibrous paper: a wetting front feathers along the fibres, dye separates into a coloured fringe and dries to a darker rim. Use for letters, journals and artisanal titles.
Light Painting
A long-exposure photograph of a handheld light writing in the dark: trail brightness follows 1/pen speed, colour cools from hot to warm, and a sparkler throws ballistic sparks. Use for night-photo titles, signatures and festive reveals.
Burn Away
Letters cut from singed cream paper with smouldering embers; the erase is a combustion front travelling along the strokes leaving glowing edge, cracked char and ash. Use for dramatic reveals, titles and storytelling.
Constellation
Pen strokes become a planetarium star plate: blackbody-coloured stars with Kepler binaries, tapered chart lines and faint dust stars. Use for space, astronomy, night-sky and elegant title cards.
Embroidery
Hand-embroidered lettering that picks satin, stem stitch, couching and French knots per stroke, with silk thread sheen under a moving light on puckered linen. Use for monograms, heritage brands and textile titles.
