Works well with

Apollonian Grid

An Apollonian gasket of tangent circles built by circle inversion, re-balanced by a slow Möbius flow. Use for jewel-like, mathematical and luxury scenes.

Grid

Silk

Pictures printed on sheets of silk, each a cloth simulation hanging in a light breeze and lit by the scene with a soft sheen; the cursor is a breath of air on the cloth. Use for fashion, textiles and soft, calm showcases.

Gallery layout

Silk drape

Drop a silk sheet over a 3D object that drapes and collapses as it vanishes. Reversed, it is the magician-style unveiling.

Object effect

Diamond

The diamond card suit as a solid 3D rhombus with a soft bevel. Use for card-game, casino and jewellery scenes with metal or crystal materials.

Shape

Embroidery

Hand-embroidered lettering that picks satin, stem stitch, couching and French knots per stroke, with silk thread sheen under a moving light on puckered linen. Use for monograms, heritage brands and textile titles.

Text

Engraving

The picture as an ink engraving on paper, fine strokes laid along its own isophotes, dense where it is dark, at a depth set by brightness; a change lifts and turns every stroke to the new picture's flow like filings in a field. Use for luxury, editorial, banknote and art direction.
