Jelly
Squash and wobble like soft rubber, keeping its volume — settles back to rest
Settings and defaults

- Duration
- 1.1 s
Jelly gives an object one squash-and-wobble, like soft rubber. Anchored at its base, it squashes down first, then springs up and rings out back and forth until it settles exactly at rest when the duration ends. It is a single move: it does not leave the scene and does not stay changed.
How it works
The object behaves like a damped spring. As it squashes it gets wider, and as it stretches it gets thinner, so its volume always looks the same, which is what makes it read as soft material rather than a simple scale. The wobble fades away evenly, reaching rest at the end of the duration. Triggering it again while it is still wobbling starts a fresh wobble from its resting shape.
Settings
- Squash: how far it compresses on the first beat.
- Wobbles: how many back-and-forth swings it makes before settling.
- Duration: how long the whole wobble lasts.
Use it for
Hover feedback on buttons and products, playful brands, kids' content, candy and toy scenes, and any moment where a click should feel physical. Put it on click or hover, inside an action or animation, or on the object itself; with the playback set to Reverse or Yoyo it plays the same move backwards in time. For a wobble that keeps going, use Wobble or Bounce; for an exit with the same springy energy, Pop.
