Ivy grows over an object. Vines creep along its real surface, branching where there is room, thicker near the roots and thinner at the tips, and five-lobed ivy leaves unfurl as each tip passes. While it holds, the leaves sway gently. It is a state, not an exit: reversing withers the ivy, the leaves brown, droop and fall away, and the vines draw back to their roots.

How it works

The growth uses the same branching method that models trees and leaf veins: points on the surface attract the vine tips, each tip grows toward the nearest ones, and every new step is pulled back onto the surface. So the vines follow the object's actual shape, wrapping a column, a statue or a logo instead of floating over it. The stems are lit tubes, and the leaves are cupped and veined.

Settings

- Grows from: The base, The top, or Scattered roots. - Coverage: how much of the object the vines cover. - Leaves: the share of the vine that carries leaves. - Leaf size: small creeping ivy or big lush leaves. - Leaves and Vines colours: dark green and brown by default. - Duration: 5 seconds, so the growth reads.

Use it for

Botanical, garden and eco brands, ruins and fantasy scenes, a slow reveal on a hero object, architecture taken back by nature. Grow it over a Petrify statue, or surround it with the Falling Leaves effect.
