Grid
Advanced Grid
A glowing square floor grid with animated lines and cells: ripples, scans, pulses and twinkling tiles. For tech, sci-fi and product stages.

The Advanced Grid is the classic glowing floor grid, made to move. Fine lines mark every cell, brighter accent lines group the cells into larger squares, and both the lines and the cells can animate in light. By default it is cool blue on a transparent background.
How it works
The grid is drawn as one flat plane, so it stays crisp at any distance and fades out smoothly instead of ending in a hard border. The animations are waves of light passing over the lines and cells, not moving geometry, so the grid keeps its shape while the light travels across it.
Settings
- Line Mode: Static, Ripple (rings spreading from the centre), Flow (waves running along both axes), Scan (a bright diagonal band sweeping across) or Pulse (the whole grid breathing).
- Cell Mode: Off, Wave, Twinkle (random cells glowing), Ripple or Alternate (a blinking checkerboard).
- Cell Size, Section Size and Section Width set the spacing and the weight of the accent lines.
- Fade Distance and Fade Strength decide how far the grid reaches and how softly it ends.
- Displace lifts the surface into a rolling wave that travels out from the centre.
- Reveal builds the grid outward from the centre behind a bright edge, an easy intro.
Use it for
Product stages, tech landing pages, sci-fi floors and hero sections that need depth without clutter. For a plain, static reference grid use the Basic Grid; browse every variant under grids.
Code and API
Ready-to-paste React Three Fiber code and the 3DRise API are included in paid plans, inside the studio.

Apollonian Grid
An Apollonian gasket of tangent circles built by circle inversion, re-balanced by a slow Möbius flow. Use for jewel-like, mathematical and luxury scenes.
Chladni Grid
Vibrating Chladni plates: sand settles on the nodal lines of a standing wave that drifts between resonances. Use for sound, music, science and meditative floors.
Circuit Grid
Beautifull circuit grid
Conformal Grid
A square lattice pulled through ideal-flow potentials (spinning cylinder, vortex, source-sink); colour is flow speed and dye rides the streamlines. Use for science and tech scenes.
Works well with
Glitch
Glitch post-processing: short bursts of digital break-up across a 3D scene at random intervals, for tech, gaming and music looks.
Post-processing effectHologram scan
Scan a 3D object into a glowing hologram with a sweeping plane of light, then switch it off, or keep it as a hologram.
Object effectHolographic Crosshair
A holographic crosshair cursor: a spinning targeting ring with four ticks that follows the mouse. For games, HUD interfaces and sci-fi product pages.
CursorIn shell
The object shows the Harmonic Shell it is in: the part inside takes the shell's film, the crossing glows, and the inside sways with the membrane — reverting puts the plain object back
Object effectWireframe trail
A moving 3D object leaves copies drawn as its real mesh edges, each line retracting into its middle.
Object effectAfterimage trail
Leave fading glassy copies of a 3D object along its path whenever it moves. A motion trail you add to any move.
