The Circuit Grid turns the floor into a circuit board. Long copper traces wind across it, ending on round solder pads, with the odd chip and its row of legs set into the board, and straight bus lines cutting across every few tiles. By default it is green on a near-black board, and light pulses travel along the traces like signals.

How it works

Each square tile carries two quarter-circle arcs. Half of the tiles are mirrored, and because every arc ends in the middle of a tile edge, the arcs join up across tiles into long meandering paths that look routed rather than random. Only some tiles are powered: those carry the light, while the rest sit dim in the background, which gives the board its sense of activity.

Settings

  • Powered is the share of traces that carry signal.
  • Chip Chance replaces some tiles with chips; 0 removes them.
  • Pad Size sets the solder pads; 0 removes them.
  • Line Mode picks the motion: Flow sends pulses running along the traces, Scan sweeps a data wavefront diagonally across the board, Pulse lets each trace breathe on its own timing.
  • Cell Size scales the whole board; Line Color, Glow Color and Cell Color restyle it.

Use it for

Hardware and AI product launches, data and security pages, sci-fi interfaces and tech event visuals. The Hilbert Grid is a cleaner take on data moving through a floor.

Code and API

Ready-to-paste React Three Fiber code and the 3DRise API are included in paid plans, inside the studio.
