3D Text turns a word or a line into a solid: the letters of the font are extruded to a depth, with a bevelled edge that catches light. It takes any material, so the same word can be gold, glass, chrome or wood, and it moves, spins and casts light like any other object.

Shape settings

• Text is the word or line to show.
• Font picks the typeface: clean faces such as Inter, Montserrat, Oswald, Bebas Neue and Playfair Display, or handwriting faces such as Caveat, Dancing Script and Pacifico. They are the same fonts the animated text looks use.
• Size sets the letter height, Depth how far the letters are extruded, and Letter spacing the gap between them.
• Bevel switches the rounded edge on or off; Bevel depth, Bevel size and Bevel segments set how deep, wide and smooth it is.

Materials and display modes

Gold or chrome give logo-style lettering; clear glass makes refracting glass letters. The display modes also turn the word into particles or outlines. For flat, animated lettering such as neon or handwriting, see the text looks.
