Liquid Metal
Letters as puddles of mercury: a surface-tension meniscus mirrors a drifting studio with Fresnel chrome reflections and slow ripples. Use for premium logos, tech and product titles.

Liquid Metal makes each letter a puddle of mercury or molten chrome, held together by surface tension. The tops are flat mirrors, the edges a rounded rim, and slow ripples and travelling swells keep the reflections moving.
How it works
The surface is a pure mirror. It reflects a built-in photo studio, with a warm and a cool softbox and a thin strip light that slowly sweeps across, so a bright streak travels over the letters. Colour comes from how real metal reflects: one colour when seen straight on, a different tint at grazing angles, and a dark contact line where the metal meets the surface. The default Draw, Flow, runs a bulb of metal along each stroke; the Melt erase lets it run and drip away, and Beads breaks each stroke into round drops that evaporate.
Settings
- Thickness sets how deep and rounded the puddles are.
- Metal colour, Metal tint and Edge tint pick silver, gold, copper or blue steel.
- Reflectivity and Environment set how bright and contrasted the reflections are.
- Ripples and Ripple speed set the surface waves.
- Spikes breaks the metal into sharp cones, like ferrofluid in a magnetic field.
- Oxide skin adds a thin rainbow film; Melt and Drips shape the erase.
Use it for
- Premium logos and product launches
- Tech and automotive titles
- Luxury and fashion campaigns
Code and API
Ready-to-paste React Three Fiber code and the 3DRise API are included in paid plans, inside the studio.

Burn Away
Letters cut from singed cream paper with smouldering embers; the erase is a combustion front travelling along the strokes leaving glowing edge, cracked char and ash. Use for dramatic reveals, titles and storytelling.
Chalkboard
Single-stroke chalk on slate: pressure-dependent deposit on a fixed grainy board with powdery halo, falling dust at the pen and a felt-smudge erase leaving ghosts. Use for classrooms, menus and hand-made titles.
Constellation
Pen strokes become a planetarium star plate: blackbody-coloured stars with Kepler binaries, tapered chart lines and faint dust stars. Use for space, astronomy, night-sky and elegant title cards.
Embroidery
Hand-embroidered lettering that picks satin, stem stitch, couching and French knots per stroke, with silk thread sheen under a moving light on puckered linen. Use for monograms, heritage brands and textile titles.
Fourier Sketch
Each letter is traced by a chain of rotating circles whose radii are its Fourier coefficients; more terms sharpen the form, and glints keep circling the finished contours. Use for science, math and generative titles.
Frost Growth
Dendritic hoarfrost nucleates in competing crystal grains on the letter outlines, each with its own six-fold lattice and bright boundary seams, then throws prismatic glints. Use for winter, cold-brand and fantasy titles.
Works well with
Liquid Metal Blob
A liquid metal cursor: a glossy chrome blob that ripples as it follows the mouse and swells when you move fast. For luxury, fashion and tech.
CursorMetal
Twelve metal presets for 3D scenes, from mirror chrome and gold to brushed, raw and rusty metal, for any shape, model or 3D text.
MaterialMetalize
Pour molten metal over a 3D object and leave it polished gold, silver, chrome, copper, bronze or titanium. Reverse melts it off.
Object effectAdvanced
Five advanced 3D materials: a mirror floor, refraction, see-through transmission glass, and two surfaces that distort or wobble the shape in motion.

Bright, lightweight aluminum with high reflectivity and slight surface roughness
