Solar turns each line into a filament of the sun's surface: a white-hot core wrapped in orange and fading to deep red at its edges, rolling with turbulence, with small jets shooting off the side and an occasional flare flashing bright.

How it looks

The filament is not a straight stripe. Large convection rolls and smaller eddies push it sideways as they drift along the line, so it writhes like hot plasma. Its color follows temperature from the center out: Core Color in the middle, Mid Color around it and Cool Color at the edges. Thin jets appear and vanish along one side, and every few seconds a flare lights up one spot of the line in Flare Color before fading. The whole filament also pulses gently in brightness.

Settings

  • Speed sets the pace of the turbulence, jets and flares.
  • Turbulence sets how much the filament writhes; low values give a calmer, straighter line.
  • Core Color, Mid Color and Cool Color set the temperature gradient from center to edge.
  • Flare Color sets the color of the flares.

Use it for

Sun and star scenes, fire-themed outlines, energy and heat visuals, and dramatic wireframe reveals. It pairs well with Sun Lava and the Sun Corona halo in the same scene.
