Blast off
Crouch, then launch straight up and out of the scene — it comes back with a powered landing: falls in, brakes hard, hovers, touches down

Blast off launches an object straight up like a rocket. It crouches first, squashing down at its base, then springs out of the crouch as the thrust takes over and climbs faster and faster until it is gone above the scene. It does not come back by rewinding: the return is a powered landing.
How it works
On the way out the climb builds gradually instead of kicking in at once, the object stretches along its speed and trembles slightly on the thrust. On the way back it falls in from above, already fast and slightly tilted, brakes hard (the braking squashes it), rights itself with a small overshoot, hangs just above the ground for a moment, then touches down at almost no speed and settles with a soft squash. Triggered again mid-flight, it turns round smoothly.
Settings
- Height: how high it flies before it is gone, measured in its own heights.
- Crouch: the squash before launch and on landing.
- Stretch: how much it stretches with speed and squashes when braking.
- Thrust wobble: the shake while the engine is firing.
- Duration: the length of the launch, and of the landing.
Use it for
Launch announcements, a "send" or "go" button that sends the product off, space scenes and game-like menus. Use it on click or hover, inside an action, or as the object's entrance and exit. A Light streaks trail or Motion Blur adds speed to the climb.

Knock away
Struck from the side: it flies off on an arc, tumbling by where it was hit — tall things tip, flat ones skim; it is thrown back in and lands with a hop
Object effectSlam
Hangs above its spot, winds up and slams down — squash, hop and rattle; it leaves by slamming down through the floor
Object effectSlingshot
Pulled back on an elastic, then let go — it snaps forward and flies off stretched; it flies back in and is caught by a spring
Object effectFly-by
Takes off, banks and flies past the camera — it comes back from behind the camera on the other side and sets down in place
Object effectPop
Inflates and wobbles under rising pressure, then bursts to nothing — it pops back out of nothing and rings down
Object effectSwirl away
Spiral the target up into a vortex until it vanishes — reverting spirals it back into place
Object effectWorks well with
Shockwave
A Sedov–Taylor blast wave: a razor-bright front over a compressed shell that bursts out, slows and cools, raising dust and a brief condensation dome. Use for explosions, impacts, sci-fi pulses.
EffectBlack Hole
A ray-traced Schwarzschild black hole: gravitational lensing, photon ring and a Doppler-beamed accretion disk with relativistic jets. Use for space, gravity and cosmic scenes.
EffectDistort
An animated distortion material that pushes the surface in and out with moving noise, turning a sphere into a living, breathing blob.
AdvancedFlares
Bursts of hot plasma erupt from the edge of an object, like flares on the sun. Use for suns, energy cores, magic and power-up moments.
EffectGrav Wave Grid
A spacetime lattice around an inspiralling black-hole binary: the wells pinch the grid and chirping quadrupole waves spiral outward until the merger rings down. Use for space, physics and sci-fi floors.
GridLava
Animated lava and molten-surface materials for any 3D shape: boiling cells, glowing cracks, dark spots and a hot rim, in eight color moods.
