Fly-by makes an object take off and fly past the camera. It lifts straight up, banks into a turn and sweeps towards the viewer on a smooth curve, rolling into the bend and turning to face where it is going, then passes just beside the lens and is gone.
How it works
The flight path is laid out from where the camera is when it starts, so the object always comes at the viewer. The bank follows the curve itself: the harder the path turns, the more it rolls, the way a plane or bird leans into a turn. It takes off slowly and accelerates along the path. The return comes in from behind the camera on the opposite side, banks round, slows down and sets down in place with a soft bob, the roll easing out.
Settings
- Passes on the: right or left of the camera.
- Bank: how hard it rolls into the turn.
- Climb: how high it climbs before heading for the camera.
- Duration: the length of the fly-by, and of the return.
Use it for
Hero moments, product launches, aircraft, birds and drones, and any scene that wants a cinematic pass close to the viewer. Run it on click or hover, inside an action, or as an entrance and exit tied to the object being shown or hidden. Motion Blur and a Long exposure trail add speed as it passes the lens.

Slam
Hangs above its spot, winds up and slams down — squash, hop and rattle; it leaves by slamming down through the floor
Object effectWhoosh
Streaks through its own spot again and again, each pass crossing the last, then brakes into place; it leaves the same way, in reverse
Object effectBlast off
Crouch, then launch straight up and out of the scene — it comes back with a powered landing: falls in, brakes hard, hovers, touches down
Object effectDrift up
Lifts away like a balloon let go — rising faster and faster, drifting and swaying in a calm wind; it sinks back down and settles with a bob
Object effectKnock away
Struck from the side: it flies off on an arc, tumbling by where it was hit — tall things tip, flat ones skim; it is thrown back in and lands with a hop
Object effectSlingshot
Pulled back on an elastic, then let go — it snaps forward and flies off stretched; it flies back in and is caught by a spring

Murmuration
A starling murmuration: thousands of boids with topological neighbours swirl around a drifting roost, folding into dense, wave-like sheets. Use for dusk, wildlife, flocking, atmospheric scenes.
EffectShockwave
A Sedov–Taylor blast wave: a razor-bright front over a compressed shell that bursts out, slows and cools, raising dust and a brief condensation dome. Use for explosions, impacts, sci-fi pulses.
EffectSky Clouds Dramatic
High-contrast animated clouds with bright rims, deep shading, light shafts and glow combined. A cinematic sky for dramatic 3D scenes.
CloudCirrus Fast
Fast-moving cirrus clouds with pronounced streaks and dynamic appearance
EffectCloud
Animated procedural cloud materials for any 3D surface: bright, sunset, dawn, stormy and overcast skies with silver linings and light rays.
MaterialDistort
An animated distortion material that pushes the surface in and out with moving noise, turning a sphere into a living, breathing blob.
