Droplet

The Droplet is a teardrop: a round bottom that narrows to a point at the top, extruded into a solid with a soft bevelled edge. It is the universal symbol for water, oil, serums and drops of anything.

Shape settings

• Width (0.2 to 0.8) sets how wide the round body is. Narrow it for a slim falling drop, widen it for a plump bead.
• Taper (0.4 to 1.8) sets how tall the pointed top is. Low values give a short, rounded drop; high values pull the tip up into a long point.
• Curve detail sets how smooth the outline is.

Display modes and materials

Solid shows the shape. Profile draws only the outline, useful for icon-style line art, and the point modes turn it into a cloud of particles. The material is what makes a drop believable: water or clear glass for a liquid drop that refracts what is behind it, amber for honey or oil, gold for a premium serum.
