The Shield is a heraldic shield outline: a flat top, straight upper sides, and curves that meet in a point at the bottom, extruded into a solid with a soft bevelled edge. It stands for protection, security, rank and team.
Shape settings
- Width (0.4 to 1.2) sets how broad the shield is against its fixed height: narrow for a tall knightly shield, wide for a squat badge.
- Curve detail sets how smooth the curved lower edges are.
Make it thin like a badge or thick like a real shield with the object's scale.
Display modes and materials
Solid shows the bevelled shield. Profile draws the outline as a clean line for a crest or icon, Edges adds the bevel lines, and the point modes turn it into particles for a protective shield made of light. Any material goes on it: steel or iron for armour, gold for a crest or award, glossy blue plastic for a friendly security badge.
Use it for
- Security, privacy and antivirus products
- Gaming badges, ranks and achievements
- Sports team crests and heraldry
